Murdoch Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Just to clarify. I have geofilter centered over Chicago, 300 mile range, ping assist at 30ms strict mode on. I play cod aw. The geofilter in strict mode is only to make sure the host is within this range? Correct? Since nearly every game is now on a dedi I will only get 2 or 3 players that show up within my geofilter the other 8 or so players don't show at all. Also will peer pings only show who is within the geofilter? I have had a maximum of 3 show up in many matches of 10 to 12 players? Thanks.

Ping assist will show anybody that you connect to via it, it should look a bit like a nuke symbol. Strict mode means that you will only ever connect to hosts inside the GeoFilter.
