Couple of connection questions

Recommended Posts

So ive been doing a lot to fix bufferbloat because I have a pretty big problem with it and the only way I can fix it is by disabling super turbo and use the CC. So here are my questions

1. In the new update will super turbo allow CC to be used?

2. If I stream and hypertraffic both my PS4 and Computer will I continue to drop frames? (Only have tested my ps4 and it makes me drop alot of frames)

Thanks!:)

Hypertraffic is only for low bandwith sources. Anything more will cause a backup of packets (i.e. dropping frames)

I know it disables CC but will the update fix that with dumaOS?

Good question. But I think the devs believe with speeds like congestion would not be an issue. But like is said good question.

It's not a bug so I wouldn't class it as a fix, I believe it's disabled because the hardware cannot do higher speeds along with QoS at the same time so it's one or the other. Disable super turbo and see what max speeds you get, you may get over 300mbps as it is in which case you can have both.

That may occur as they're both things that need priority really so I would either prioritise the console (see how it goes) or prioritise neither.
