PLEASE HELP ITS WITH WIFI AND CC

Hey netduma if I connected a ASUS router to my netduma and use it as a extender for wifi and turn my netduma wifi off will I lag?.I didn't even put ASUS in ap mode and it still works with the congestion control, does that mean it already was??If the ASUS is connected to the Duma and when I move the cc sliders down and the ASUS wifi speeds go down that means it's controlled my the Duma and everything is setup correctly?.Another 2 questions why is it when I connect the ASUS modem router to use for WiFi, it won't show in the device manger but if I move the sliders up and down the wifi speeds go up and down, shouldn't say it's connected and my second.

Everything connected BEHIND the R1 can be controlled by it and therefore the congestion control will take affect. No, it doesn't need to be in AP mode for it to work, yes. It is probably showing up as a device on device manager just not as Asus or the model number. Look for the WAN IP on the Asus then match it with the IP on the duma. Would recommend using AP mode though, then instead of showing up as one device on device manager you'd see all the devices connected to the Asus, could then hyper traffic them, geo-filter etc.
