Kobe24
Hey guys. I need help to get my peer ping and auto ping working. Everytime i click on a host it gives me a firewall and vpnd error. My router has been bridged to the netduma so i shouldnt have any issues with this. I dont have anything vpn turned on it says enabled though i uncheck it leave the page come back and its enabled again but it stays disconnected. Also the firewall shouldnt be an issue since its bridged right??i have an open nat through port forwarding. Anyone have issues with this bf is there anyway to fix it. Do i have to reset the duma? Also i use a phone on chrome for geo filtering.

Kobe24
Hi frase. Ive already got everything set up on the netduma for about a week now im only haveing trouble with one error and i dont know how to fix it. My isp put my router in bridge mode. Which i thought was supposed to fix the error. The only problem i have is pinging the host. As i said. I only need help to solve this issue (Warning something went wrong when trying to ping.please make sure no devices are vpn'd and that your firewall isnt blocking the ping result) i bridged my router as i said earlier. Will i need to reset the router?? Because also from the interface i cannot rebooot the router anymore i have to physically walk to it and do it. I need help with this its been over a week. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 12, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 12, 2017 Hi Kobe, yes I understand your ping issue. If you follow the guide I linked then that should resolve it. Bridge mode should not cause an issue and you should not need to reset the router. What happens when you try to reboot from the router interface? Kobe24
Huh ok well im not sure what else to do to get the ping host to work ive tried nearly everything. Well when i try to reboot router from the interface it tells me its rebooting but its not. Its like its not responding to it. There is one thing on the vpn with hide my ass i untick the enable button at the bottom leave the page come back and hide my ass is ticked again thats why i wonder if i should reset the router something seems off like its not responding to a few commands.
