DanologyUK
I've just been looking on the Virgin Media forum and I came across this https://www.ubnt.com/edgemax/edgerouter-lite/which shows it can process 1 million packets a second. How does the Netduma compare to this?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 10, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 10, 2017 It also mentions it's for carrier-class networks so it's major overkill for consumer networks. In terms of how many it can process a second I would have to check with the Devs but more than enough for any network. It can handle LOTS of devices, way more than a standard home would have so theres no issue there.

How does the Netduma compare to this? i believe the netduma is based of this mikrotik platform. https://routerboard.com/RB951G-2HnD the spec are at the bottom of the page and as you can see it can't operate a gig FTTH at full speed. (when ip filter are activated which is why we have to deactivate congestion control to go higher than 500Mbps) there is way better and cheaper mikrotik equivalent now like : https://routerboard.com/RB750Gr3(without wireless but who cares..) should Netduma allows us to repurpose our software license.
