You don't need to set a static IP for the Netduma on the hub. DHCP is absolutely fine - it won't provide any benefits connection wise. The only thing would be is that you might need to reupdate the DMZ with the R1 WAN IP if you reboot the router. If you don't want to do that (don't know how often you reboot the router) I would set a static IP for the R1 on your hub.
