zombitroid
Hello all, Its been a while since I have been here, but it feels good to be back! I am wondering why, on an extremely quiet network, my netduma internet diagnosis test results suddenly change so quickly, with no changes to the connection or settings. One test I will get good ping, exceptional jitter, exceptional spikes, and No Packet Loss, but then it could be the very next sequential test and spikes and jitter both report good or terrible. My results are different each time, they feel randomized. Ping test, speedtest, and traceroute tests all return excellent results. 3-7 ms jitter on ping test. What is causing this? all help greatly appreciated! jeff
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 23, 2017 Administrators Share Posted January 23, 2017 Hey Jeff, welcome back! It could indicate an issue with your line, or more likely at the moment could be the Google servers misbehaving. Use Pingplotter and see if there is an actual issue or not. fuzzy clam
As Fraser said I would definitely run ping plotter to check your line.
