kauffmmj
Hi, I just received my new Netduma R1 today. I hooked it up to my xfinity modem / router combo and found my speeds dropped from an average of 170 mbps to around 30-50 mbps. It doesn't seem to matter if I have the xfinity modem / router in bridge mode or not. The speed drop has been verified both on a wired connection and over wifi. I have read several of the threads on this forum and have already tried the following; Set the bandwidth to 170/10 Checked Reactive Download and Upload cap 100% Reset distribution confirmed that deep packet is not enabled Confirmed that turbo mode is enabled IPV6 disabled Next step is to send this back unless someone has any other ideas. Thanks for any help.

kauffmmj
I had not tried Super Turbo previously because the directions say that super turbo is for speeds above 500 mbps however I just tried it and my speed was 70 mbps
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted December 29, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted December 29, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! So there are some more things to rule out. Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds, and try swapping the wire out / using different ports. And just to confirm, your results are from a wired speed test through a PC on speedtest.net? I would also try a factory reset if you haven't already. kauffmmj
Hi, I'm using the cable that came with the Netduma. I did try several different ports but no change. Yes, I used speedtest.net. Also tried factory reset. Any other thoughts?
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted December 29, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted December 29, 2016 Something that can strangely work is this: Try unplugging everything (Modem and Netduma) and reconnecting them (Modem first) with the Modem in bridge mode.
