GameChanger Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 This is my current modem setup through uverse. I use the phone line///Ethernet port 1-wireless access point///Ethernet port 2-DvrTelevision////Dsl Broadband(green port) My questions 1. Does the green dsl broadband and phone line remain in the uverse modem? 2. Is there any changes to make in the uverse network setting on your computer before setting up ethernet cables to duma?
abc123 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Something like: https://www.dslreports.com/faq/17734 You would run the access point from the netduma. The DVR stays in the u-verse , phone line, and the dsl broadband
GameChanger Posted December 6, 2016 Author Posted December 6, 2016 Thanks for the quick response....i'm gonna try this method....if i'm able to connect the netduma by this method will i be able to use all duma capabilities such as congestion and prioritize features? All of my house devices are all running on wifi except my ps4 and soon to be mini laptop. Thanks again for helping me out.
abc123 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 you would need everything to run through the netduma if you wanted to utilize congestion control/prioritization. other than that yes.
