Enrix
Hello everyone! I have another router that I need to continue to use, what is the best setup I could use with my ISP modem, my router and the netduma? Please, I would be really grateful if you could make me a quick tutorial on the DMZ and the config. I already have read the starter guide and this > https://netduma.com/support/faqs/how-do-i-quickly-set-my-netduma-router-up/ But it just says: "If you have a router that you want / need to continue to use, then you the best setup is: Wall – ISP modem – secondary router – Netduma R1" Do I need to enable bridge mode on my router? What about DMZ? I wanted to do this but I did not try it already: ISP modem > Netduma > Router; DMZ enabled from my ISP modem to the netduma WAN IP, bridge mode (or access mode, however you want to call it) on my Router. This would probably work but would I get all the features from the netduma optimally? Thanks a lot Ps. If you are asking yourself why didn't I try it before making this post, it's because I am considering buying a new modem because the one I have atm does not have Upnp, DMZ or anything, so I am not being able to use my netduma optimally atm. I just wanted to know your opinion before I buy this new modem. --EDIT-- No need to reply, as Fraser has already answered this question in another topic. I will just have this setup: ISP > Netduma > Router and hopefully it will work.
