DARK BAWGS
I went to download Infinate Wastefare and got a message that my PS4 was out of memory. Now I don't care if I ever play it so not a real problem. However as time goes on I will want to add more games and you can't added external memory (easily) so perhaps I should upgrade. That brings me to my question should I consider going to the "pro" and if so is it just for more memory? At the same time should I consider upgrading my Xbox One to the "S" and again why? Interested in anyone's thoughts... by the way I play on a Benq and have no desire to get a 4k TV any time soon. Thanks,
RolidSnake
Hey DB,It was a good job I checked the forums today as I'm in the same situation! I don't plan on getting a PS4 Pro anytime soon (not until more games are supported and I get my hands on a good 4k monitor etc) but the best/cheapest workaround for now is to invest in a new hard drive for the PS4.You can pick up a 1TB hybrid drive for £84.99 (not sure what that is in $) - this will give you double the storage space and due to the hybrid SSD feature, you will decrease loading times for games. Yes, SSD's will give you an even greater advangae in loading speeds, but they cost a lot more than hybrid drives. If loading speeds are not an issue, then you can settle for a normal HHD (and probably boost the storage space up to 2TB for the same price as a 1TB Hybrid Drive)Hope this is of any use to you? major masingil
I can't advise on the PS4 Pro...know nothing about it, but I would wait on the XB one upgrade. They're launching a new console next year called the Scorpio.

I had it and it made loading significantly faster plus 1tb more space. Or upgrade your PS4 to a bigger drive, it's really simple to do. I actually got rid of my X1 and took that drive out of the enclosure and put it in my PS4. Neither console is worth upgrading to if you have the previous generation IMO
ziocomposite
BTW, check out this method. In the comments section you'll see a method to do the replacement with only Hard Drive =)
