bagsta69
So just setting up my PS4 pro and bought an extra Premium HDMI cable so that I can go through the Elgato HD60 capture card. Quick question does anybody know if doing this will lower the quality as the premium signal going down the HDMI cables is interrupted by the Elgato? abc123
There is no noticeable difference in HDMI cables. to quote:https://www.cnet.com/news/premium-hdmi-cable-certification-program-what-you-need-to-know/ The el gato will degrade the quality, i recommend and hdmi splitter
iAmMoDBoX
What he said ^^^ But splitters that are bad quality can introduce some latency... The el gato isn't supposed to do this but I'm sure it does What I like is that my monitor has HDMI output so any inputs are mirrored to the output and I can plug a capture device into it
