Toy Posted October 24, 2016 Share Posted October 24, 2016 Hi i have a netgear router that i use to play on... i switched to the netduma a while ago i just started switching back and forth for the infinite warfare beta... it feels better playing with the netduma on cod but when i play on destiny it feels sluggish and as if my sensitivity is way too slow... i turn off the host filtering and ping assist to zero i also turn on auto cloud and bleeding edge is there some setting im missing? or something im messing up? i have 500 download and 50 upload speed with hotwire fiber optics... also my modem is in the wall in like a breaker type sealed thingy ma bob and i plug the netduma into a ethernet port they have installed on the wall... if theres anymore info i need to share for you to help me please let me know! Your speeds are too high to make use of congestion control so don't need to worry about that. What is the average ping you're getting as shown by peer ping? What is the average ping you're getting as shown by peer ping? 30-40ms when i play destiny on the netduma it has like a weird sluggish feeling to it and it doesn't do that on the other games i play i put the destiny profile on and didn't seem to change anything.. maybe i unticked something in the misc settings i wasn't suppose to? also i turned off ipv6 i have upnp on and i have hyper traffic on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
frustrated Posted October 25, 2016 Share Posted October 25, 2016 This sounds really odd, but i play Destiny as well as Cod IW as well, and i just think the games are so different in gameplay and effects, i even played blop3 yesterday and thhat felt slow and heavy. If your speeds are the same as before with duma then maybe its just thhat different gameplay, when i play pvp now it feels heavy and slow. Just thinking thats all. It's possible you had congestion on your line.
