Hi Netduma family I actually have two problems . 1.When I reboot/power off my Netduma all my settings disappear even if the cookies are enabled (maybe I am doing something wrong) and I have to setup my host filtering and congestion control all over again. 2.Me and two of my friends play Destiny trials over the weekends .We discovered when they connect to me (they stay about 1km away from me) and I set the host filtering to cover only South Africa with 60ms ping assist with the strict mode enabled we find players who connect but then red bar and disconnect this has led to some very nasty messages over PS4 either calling us lag switchers,Ddossers or cheaters. Is there anyway to fix this or is it just how Netduma functions ? Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted October 17, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted October 17, 2016 You shouldn't reboot by unplugging the router; you should go into settings -> misc to reset the Netduma, and that should keep your settings. It'd be strange if that doesn't work out even with cookies enabled; make sure they're enabled in your iOS as well, and make sure you use Chrome or Firefox. Alternately, you could make a profile and export your settings to avoid losing them. We'd recommend the Destiny profile; but it definitely shouldn't kick people out of games. The Netduma doesn't have the capacity to filter out other players; it only filters which host you connect to initially. The people messaging you are likely wondering why your connection is good whilst other players are suffering bad connections / getting kicked. Destiny works in a very particular way with multiplayer however - so try out the Destiny profile and let us know if it keeps happening Thanks for the kind words; we can't wait for you guys to experience it!
