Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 13, 2016 Administrators Share Posted October 13, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! The easiest thing to do would be to use the Destiny Profile on the Profiles page, this will load settings for the game.
frustrated
Destiny profile is good yes use that, also un tick strict mode as well, set you ping assist to 0.Are you sure Geo is on, like it has a green tick in the box, beacuse the geo definitely does narrow down the search to your home location, find that odd your being matched up all over the place.Untick auto cloud and bleeding edge and press apply then retick auto cloud bleeding edge and apply wait 4 hrs upto .Also leave geo off when you first start the game so it shows all servers wordwide, then once you start playing pvp turn it on. Let us no how you go.
Ericg
The geofilter is enabled the problem with the destiny profile is the search area is so big I'm either hitting Canada or Mexico neither of which I want to hit. Adjusting the geo kicks me back to general gaming which even with strict clicked I keep getting people all over the place. I tried to take a picture but it keeps coming at double the allowed size. I have ps4 for service under that I have show hosts and enabled clicked. Then peer ping show legend and strict clicked. I'm trying to do a 600 mile radius but it keeps connecting me outside of the radius I have set.
frustrated
Un tick strict mode tho, peer ping ticked, ping assist zero.Spread your geo to 900 mi,use your own profile if it's better setting it up that way ..leave strict unticked. Can't see why your having a issue.Yeah send pics if you can.

Ericg
Strict is clicked I thought it was in the picture. If it is strict if should never go outside my circle am I right?
Slipknot31286sic6
Correct but destiny isn't really supported by netduma so u have to turn off strict to play destiny. Defeats purpose but yes u are right.... Honestly netduma works best on cod and only cod from what most of us have noticed. That's why all YouTube videos show only cod nothing else.... Other games are in test fazes or doesn't 100% work

Going back to the profiles page will always show the top profile in the list. It doesn't mean that is the one that is loaded. Destiny profile is still set, you've just changed the distance. Keep PA at 0 and strict off. Destiny is a weird one, though it does still work with Destiny. They use a hybrid system Peer 2 Peer & Dedicated servers. If you block a dedicated server it may boot you from the game - different from CoD that just forces a different one. This is why we recommend strict off. Though it should only allow nearby dedicated servers. Players outside your radius are still blocked. Ericg
The images I provided are after I loaded the destiny profile it is still going outside of the range. I have a destiny server white listed in the middle of the country and my geofilter just catches the edge of it. If strict is off won't I get more people all over the place? I've never been kicked from a game yet I just get matched with people every where.
frustrated
Manually set it to 900miles and keep strict off,see what happens.Destiny server ? Normally I get Seattle and I'm in the uk.As it p2p most of the time.

If that is the case then it looks like your Geo-filter is off or you haven't taken account of anti-cheat (wait two minutes for the map to completely clear otherwise you could connect to previous games) As I said above strict off will only allow nearby dedicated servers so you should still have an advantage.
