Corbula
I don't know what my issues is or what end it is at (the router or broadband) but my Internet has gone down and when I load the miscellaneous page in the router it says there was an error loading the page and to post the issue here. Under the cloud settings it has a loading bar still as that section never loads. I wasn't doing anything with the router at the time this happened. I can't even do a ping to anywhere. What does this error mean and do you think it's because of the router issue or a broadband issue? Thanks

Thanks Hey Corbula, Whats your setup ? isp Modem (bridged) to Netduma or Modem/router (router mode) to Netduma using DMZ ? Check to see if the ethernet from isp's modem is connected to port 1 on the Netduma. Now check to see if the device you're using is connected to the Netduma & not the isp's modem. Click on Devices tab and check if you have a Wan ip address. I've had the error message a couple of times but I just ignore it as everything is fine ... also, almost every 'error' says to post on the forum. It could be that your isp modem contacted dhcp and requested a new ip, if so, the modem maybe hasn't done the 'handshake' with the Netduma properly which can cause the same problem. Turn all devices off then do a fresh boot of each device starting with your isp modem, wait until its fully operational, now boot up the Netduma, and so on. It should fix it but if its your actual isp thats down, you're just gonna have to wait it out. I'm sure they have a forum of their own maybe to check if your area is ok or not. Corbula
Right, it is the router as I've just found my old isp router, plugged that in and the Internet worked. My setup is just the openreach modem with the netduma connected directly to it. No settings or the setup has changed in months. I've tried rebooting both the modem and the netduma one at a time. I did have a WAN IP however I disconnected the netduma and reconnected it and now I can't access the settings of it, I just get a unreachable error. I'm doing this on my desktop which is wired. Yes the modem is connected to port 1 of the netduma. Don't know what else to do now?
Corbula
Right, it seems like I've fixed it. I set up a static IP for my desktop and then it got an Internet connection straight away and could also load the netduma configuration pages. It turned out to be that I set up two of the same IP addresses in the dhcp reservation. As soon as I disabled 1 it all started working again and I no longer get the error message on the miscellaneous page. I was trying to keep the same IP for a device rather than it having two IP addresses, one for WiFi and one for wired. I actually thought I removed it before but it was obviously still saved in the settings. I will let you know if anything happens in the next few days
