Unable to set device prioritization

Recommended Posts

The router has been fantastic on the PS4 so far but today i jumped on and the games or way behind.  My bullets are registering (not kidding) a full second after they have been fired.  I logged into the router and tried to reload my saved profile but it is telling me that it's "Unable to set device prioritization".  Not sure what is wrong or why today has been so bad (very frustrating).  As previously mentioned, this has been working beautifully on the PS4 up until this point.  Is there a reason why the router works so much better on the PS4 than the Xbox One (I have used it on both)?  Any tips on what settings i should have would be amazing as well (playing BO3).  Thank you for your time!!

The router doesn't work better on one console than another, might just seem like that right now.And if you switched consoles did you make sure and tick your xbox and not your PS4 on the host filtering page under select service ?

And have you tried resetting distribution from the congestion control page. And if that doesn't work you can always try a reboot from miscellaneous settings.

Yea...I make sure that each one is enabled depending on which console I am using.  I feel like with the Xbox, they are always putting me on dedicated servers that aren't very good but with the PS4 it actually uses my settings for ping.  Has anyone else ever said anything close to this before.  Maybe I am just imagining things but I feel that the PS4 actually allows me to use my settings on the Netduma but the Xbox just connects me to a dedicated server (that for the most part is pretty bad).

They both use dedicated servers so will both adhere to your settings. What is the average ping you're getting to a game as shown by the duma?

Are you experiencing jitter/spikes?

For the profile, have you disconnected any devices that may have previously been saved?

You could move your home location around to sit on different servers strict on, PA 0. Perhaps try the CoD Ultimate Profile

Most people would say the opposite, that the XBOX runs better but it's all on an individual basis.

And if your getting put on a dedi on XBOX that plays particularly bad as Fraser suggested move your home location around or use the temporary server ban and see which servers play best for you.

But both systems are defiantly based on connection to dedi's.
