maazsk97
When i had the 20mb dsl package i was on interleaved mode and whenever the landline phone used to ring my game would start to lag i would teleport/rubberband all over the place but when I downgraded to 6mb and got Fastpath enabled on my line i noticed that this issue got fixed and i don't lag no more when the landline phone rings. Can anyone explain how Fastpath fixed this issue?
Zennon
That should not happen in the first place that might have been a line card issue at the exchange or some other issue. Interleaving is for error correction, fast path has non as standard but on a G.inp enabled fibre cabinet fast path also has on the fly error correction. maazsk97
So error correcting line cards at the dslam might have an issue and when my line was removed from these line cards the issue got fixed? I don't know how interleaving is applied or removed so don't mind my ignorance.
Zennon
When you changed package they may have done a lift and shift at the exchange which would have moved you to another line card.
