Ambxsh
This is the first day with the R1 and my speeds given by speedtest.net are about 70/15 which is the same that it was before I got the R1. However, when I downloaded movies (torents) with my old router, the files would download at around 2.5 MB/s and now they download at around 9 kB/s. I used the congestion control feature and put my computer at 100 on both download and upload, but I did not see any difference whatsoever.. This is not a throttle issue btw, I am certain that it is an issue with the router. Please help, thanks!
PharmDawgg
I don't know if this is what you are looking for because I don't torrent much but one of the admins said 'On all devices that torrent you need to go to settings and disable utp. This will make no difference to the people downloading but will make our algorithms far more effective.'- Iain Fraser. I hope this helps.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 30, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 30, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum and thanks for purchasing! As well as the above, reset device distribution and ensure share excess is enabled. Is the issue resolved then?
