The Division - Dark Zone RUSH

I have to say...the Dark Zone is a really fantastic angle on mulitplayer games.  The lawlessness and the way a scene can go from routine gear farming to absolute mayhem is so fun.  There's something about my character which stops me from becoming a rogue on purpose, but I don't hate on people who do. (unless I get killed by some guy I just helped out of a sticky situation) I'm still lower level and usually playing solo, so  I think that probably has something to do with not going rogue on purpose.  It's not like a normal game where you just run all over and smoke anything that gets in your path.  You really need to move with caution, and you can't fully trust anyone you encounter.

You really have to pay attention to the sounds around you to know when is best to get in the shadows and observe, or get in on the action.  The rush you get during the extraction process is crazy.  It's like the last few seconds of a bidding war on Ebay.  At least it is for me.  Sure the game has some glitches, and there are some dweebs who use every loophole they can find to get the best gear or make it so they do 1M hit points per shot, but I haven't seen too much of that in actual game play on console.  If you want a change in pace from the monotony of regular FPS games, try out the DZ, it's almost always an adventure.

Does proximity voice work?

It has for me, but there are a lot of players that don't use mics.  I teamed up with 3 randoms the other day and only 1 had a mic.  Everyone can hear you if you have a mic. It seems like they may have nerfed the distance at which you can begin to hear the other players though.
