Geo filter: select a service with no ps4 PA option

Recommended Posts

Hi I'm new to the forum and I didn't notice a topic on this. I have to believe it's affecting the r1 because I'm getting games over the ping I have set for the ping assist bar. When I bought router It was working with games always at 33-34 ping (in game) and 20s(on router) now they're always above 50 ping for both. Does it have something to do with no option for Playstation PA in select a service? I've rebooted and even factory reset and still no option to select. My games have gone downhill. Ps4 black ops 3 with Motorola surfboard 6141. My home location is correct but it doesn't matter where I put it (tried for testing) I can't get back to the pings I was getting when netduma was new. Thought it might of had to do with games latest update but when I plug directly to modem I'm back to in game pings of 33-34.I tried my other router and also in game pings of 33-34 back to netduma and back to in game pings of 50 at best. Help please. And yes have reset modem also and I am hardwired.

The PSN PA service was removed back in version 1.03.5 I believe and it's not just called Playstation Network although it does the same things.

When the netduma is plugged in go into the game settings, go to network, and make sure the geographic region is in the right place for you

I don't think so because when I first got the netduma it was .6 firmware and it had the option to choose either ps network or ps PA. And it is showing correct location in game settings however as stated for the last few weeks my ping has increased and does not match my router PA. I never get below 50 ping now according to in game and the router and I can tell the difference easily. As to where my games were much smoother when I was on a 33 ping in game and 20s on router. Even with PA set to 40 I will get games in 66 and 80s ping according to game and router. And yes I have strict mode enabled. As stated I have reset and reboot router and modem. I have even tried factory reset

PA service has been removed so don't worry about that.

Are all devices connected to the R1? Make sure they are so you can make use of congestion control.

Use 70/70 anti-flood, ~1000km radius, strict on, pa 0.
