procreate Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 so does any of the more technical minded people in here know if any app for windows that i can collaborate on a single desktop via remote? i have a friend who is trying to learn a DAW and always calling me asking for help... seems it would be easier if i could access his desktop and show him how. remote desktop connection takes over his desktop. it would also be nice to hear sounds coming off his desktop on my remote connection. does this exist?
major masingil Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Skype works well too you can share screens and request control of each other's screens
procreate Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 isnt that only for the paid version? that is what we have been using just to see WTF he is doing. ill check next time and see if i can take control.
major masingil Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 I'm not sure if it's on the free version. I use it for work so my company has it on all their computers. When you're screen sharing look for a button at the top of the screen that says "ask for control" or "give permission"
