Does it not take a little while for the unit to "bed in" to get the correct speeds, although they are not far off :)

I'm not too sure but i updated the bandwidth settings in congestion control and a warning message popped up on the netduma stating this

Have you flashed your HG612 with the current custom firmware.

Check directly from the modem port one to a device via Ethernet to rule out a lower sync with the cabinet now you are using a modem.

I think he means connect you PC/Laptop via Ethernet to the number i poet on your modem then go into the GUI and see what your sync speeds are. You can view the info as below.

You need to enter your user name and password then click submit,

Re our shoutbox convo.

nfx is doing this because of the speed limitation of PPPoE on the duma.

Yes but route mode so he can use PPPoE on the modem so the duma does not have to , to gain full speed as he has max attainable.

I am assuming you are in port 2 to access the GUI , switch from port 2 to port one to test for internet.

Leave everything except what I have asked you to change.

That all looks good and in the LAN tab you have DHCP selected?

If it does not work for you after all this you have two options put it back in to bridge mode and use it that way or put the HH5 back into action.
