Kage79
I would like to start off by saying i have owned my Netduma for over a year and think that it is an awesome router and lives up to the hype. That being said i am very dissapointed by the support of games or lack there of. While i love the Netduma it really doesnt justify spending 200 dollars if the only use i get out of it is to play CoD or the very thin list of games supported. While its unrealistic to expect all games to be supported ive seen numerous posts of people asking for various games that never seem to get supported. Star Wars Battlefront was supossed to be looked in to in Dec.to see if it could be supported and here we are mid April and using Frasers own words he " could not carve out enough time to test properly " cmon its almost been 5 months ! By the time some of these games get supported i fear they will be irrelevant or not supported at all .Which makes my purchase of the Netduma redundant as i would like to play other games not named Call of Duty and be able to use all of the Netduma's cool features (geo-filter ect.) and not just congestion control. Macca65
If that is the case I agree with you. I only play COD, so can't really comment on other games or support or lack of. In the profiles settings there is a "General Gaming" profile does that not help in anyway? Only asking as its in there, so must be some reason for it
Kage79
The devs have to see if the game has dedicated servers and white list them ect. so the geo-filter works."General Gaming" only sets congestion control sliders to 70% and if the game your playing in not supported nothing else
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 12, 2016 Administrators Share Posted April 12, 2016 I do agree it's taken far too long to test and support games. In a small team it is hard to find the time to play games, however I began testing all the games at the weekend so should know this week either way which games we're able to support.
