Yeah hop 10 is still showing really high pings.

 

Tell them that their routing at hop 96.34.154.18 is the major cause and that there is also some jitter on all hops.

fuzzy clam and a few others here have moved to DSL to get out of the jittery grips of cable, do you have that choice?

Yes, but is much slower and I'm sharing my internet with 5 people here 4 gamers and one music lover

It might boil down to you either put up with jittery cable or slow things down and have low jitter on DSL.

One more question, if i'm not mistaking Ping Diagnostic runs the tests using google's server, 8.8.8.8? If so can that be change? Also with that server it shouldn't impact my game play right?

That is laughable they are promoting the use of cable over ADSL, rubbish.
