daz
Found a vid claiming the truth about supply drops, can't really blame activision tho as in my opinion the people to blame are the people who buy them and make them the money
UK_Wildcats_Fans
As a lower level executive, I have decades of business experience. For businesses, it is all about the money For the executives, it is all about the bonuses for performance based incentives, which often comes on the backs and sweat of the employees. Growth is one of the corporate strategies; therefore, Activision will put even more and more pressure on the developers to make each new COD game earn more money than the previous one. Therefore, this will continue well into the future with Activision coming up with even more ways to get money from the community. In addition, businesses are somewhat hostages to our customers (i.e Treyarch to Activision). Therefore, they will be under even more pressures to submit to Activison's will. Personally, I expect businesses to make money. However, I do NOT agree with taking the community hostage to pay-to-win and gambling scenarios in order to gain a fair advantage - i.e. AW for weapon variants such as Obisidian Steed and Speakeasy. I am thankful that Treyarch is at least trying to keep the supply drops to less powerful weapons.

TEH BUTCHER
Supply drops are fine in concept IMO if people want to pay for cosmetics great that's 100% optional. The annoying thing is that people that already pre-payed for new content (season pass) we're supposed to get weapons and no aren't. I want to dick around with the new weapons just to give me some variety but I sure as hell aren't going to spend money on it. The good thing is the weapons are all worse or side grades and aren't pay-to-win weapons. With that said everything Activision does is an effort to make as much money as possible and as a business that's their job.
