Netduma cutting Download speeds in half?

Recommended Posts

These are my results wired into netduma (the second and third from the top) VS wired directly into my router(all other results). I have download/upload cap set to 100%, and for the ones shown here I had the distribution reset so everything was 11. I thought maybe I should try putting ALL of the distribution to my PC and running a speed test but that only gave me 56 D/L speed which is in the same ball park as the others. Is this normal or have I probably messed with a setting I shouldn't have? I thought it was the distribution but that still gave me low DL speeds with it set all to my PC.

Hi,

what are your setup and your speeds?

Assuming Modem -> R1 -> All other devices

I´d start by typing in bandwith (Congestion Control Page). Its in Mbps.

Then I´d let the Netduma do the setup (You will be asked if this shall be done).

Are you in a very populated area? That could also cause problems due to a lot of people being online.

I have the bandwith set to 90 which is around what I get WITHOUT the netduma connected. No I am not in a populated area, as you can see in the picture I posted I get above 90 download speeds in my area without netduma connected to my router, but as soon as I connect my netduma it cuts the speed in half.

  • 2 weeks later...

Do the following:

  • Input into bandwidth settings
  • 100% anti-flood
  • Reactive algo
  • Share excess enabled
  • Reset device prioritisation & apply
  • Remove anything from hyper traffic
  • Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & Misc
  • Disable Deep packet in misc
  • Do a wired speed test from your PC
  • If that doesn't work enable turbo mode in misc settings

Ive done everything you listed but I cant find hyper traffic or turbo mode anywhere.
