hi ive been playing with the router since yesterday trying to suss things out my self but ive failed .i dont no wat settings i shuld be on and things like that ive set things to 100 percent 70 and 12 and my gameplay still no diffrent im on a virgin broadband 150 down 12 up the diagnostics in the router says good ping excellent jitter and packetloss but the way the game is playing it seems worse than when  i just had my superhub 2 can anyone help me please im not the best at sending screenshots as dont no hw to do this kind of thing hope fully someone can help me thanks in advance ade

Have you tried giving this a good read through?

Check that your bandwidth is set to what you actually get and with your download amount (150) that the algorithm is set to reactive.

hi there thanks for replying i have set all that up and read everything thats why i cant understand whats going on i no advanced warfare is shocking but was hoping for a little bit better gameplay after seeing all the videos its actually worse for me thanks ade

What do you have your geo filter set to and ping assist. Do you have strict ticked?

Could you take a pic and post it up.

Click on the more options button bottom right of the reply box to upload pics

Are you on the latest software version? © NetDuma 2014. R1 debug version 1.03.2 running on rb-951g-2hnd .

 

OK, tick strict, You are in the UK so try setting your geo filter to around 900 KM and dropping your home south west Ireland. PA to 35 ms.

Wait two minutes till all hosts have gone from the map then try again.

OK set your congestion control to 80% and try that.

Can I just confirm that you have updated to the latest version of the software please?

OH and don't worry, If I cannot help get you going I am sure one of the big cheeses will be along to get you going. :)

yea just done the update I had done a update yesterday but put the 2nd update in instead of this new 1 ill try 80 am I right in thinking you don't have to press apply buttons in this router on certain things

Thanks for purchasing the router, firstly I gotta say its almost impossible for it to be worse. We don't add any latency at all. Only thing you may want to check is make sure your console is wired.

like I said thanks for all the help yes im wired  ive done everything you suggested and im sorry to say its worse for me ive just been playing and im dying worse than before the ping box at the bottom of screen is spiking up to 150 levelling at 100 don't no what else to do im not being negative abought anything love the product  just frustrated

One other thing to check is on your Host filtering page below where your console is listed you will see a select service menu, if you are on ps select "playstation network pa" and xbox would be whatever xbox comes under with pa on the end. The pa stands for ping assist.

Could you possibly post a pic of the top and bottom of your host filtering page?

Also remember if you play a game with a bad host and you back out always wait two minutes till dots have gone off screen before trying to get another game or you may connect to the same host again.

 

OOPS sorry Ill let the big cheeses fix ya from here on in :)
