Scrizzy
Do you have on upnp? Port forwarding rules? Both consoles fight for port 3074, so switching back and forth can be a problem. Clear your upnp rules and make sure 3074 is not being held by a port forwarding rule, and power down both consoles. I can speak for the xb1. When you power it up, it will claim port 3074 if upnp is on, then when you start BO3, it will claim port 3075. You need both available for a consistent in game open NAT type.. You should also always make sure that both consoles have static IP addresses on the Duma (and remember that hard wired and wireless connections have different IPs even on the same console. Switching your connection type will mess up your port reservation rules as well.)
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2016 Administrators Share Posted March 21, 2016 Have you got the R1 in the DMZ of your ISP hub? Does console network settings say it's open? If so disable the Geo-filter before booting up. Otherwise you can try the above suggestions.
Killer65malibu
@ whitebox38 Hey man I had the same problem but if you go into the Dumas router/software setting and add these "port forwarding rules" you will have an open NAT. Now keep in mind the xbox one UI and everything about it is CRAP, lol you might have to "hard restart" it a few times to get the xbox to register that it is open. Also if you know how to manually look for your Primary DNS and Secondary DNS I would manually input these settings onto each of the consoles. I can make a youtube video if anyone would like just let me know.
