VPN Connecting but Stopping Internet Traffic on Selected Devices

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have recently attempting to change to a new VPN provider I had cop and pasted the details and put the login information and as soon as I tick on the device to rout the traffic through that device the internet connection is lost.

I have confirmed that the setting are correct and work in Tunnelblick and support from the VPN provider said that "It looks like the issue is that your device is ignoring the routing instructions from our server. Unfortunately this is not an issue on any other device, so I'm unable to assist, as it appears to be an issue with whatever you are using to load the configuration. You can see in the logs that it receives our routing instructions (PUSH_REPLY), but then does nothing with it.  So i am thinking it could possibly be a bug in Netduma VPN?  Any help would be appreciated.

I have pasted the VPN detail and connection log...  It also displays as green as connected.

Thanks

Hey audio, I had a look at the VPN provider and I believe the issue you're having here is DNS. In all of their setup instructions they require you to change the DNS as well.

What I would suggest is once you've applied the VPN change the DNS in settings to:

Primary DNS 203.143.83.123

Secondary DNS 108.61.169.104

You should then have internet.
