TwitchAbonafide Posted March 6, 2016 Share Posted March 6, 2016 So, I'm having this problem getting DDoS or kicked during Trials of Osiris is there anyway to avoid this with possibly a VPN? I've tried using my VPN and sometimes it'll either lag really bad or kick me out, and on top of that I can't use Host filtering, so idk whats the effective method to battle this. I would look at the Geo-filter and see if anything is being blocked. Using a VPN will add latency. Well, my internet didn't go out, so maybe it wasn't a DDoS, but I still believe I was host kicked for whatever reason. I did have the geo-filter on strict mode, because ppl with bad connection get a huge advantage and it's extremely frustrating. I have IPVanish, but idk i how to obtain a specialized VPN. When I tried to use a VPN on my PS4 through the VPN tab in the duma, it tells me make sure no VPN devices are being used when I tried to use the geo-filter. We recommend strict off for Destiny and PA 0. I would just search for a gaming VPN though it sounds like it isn't needed. I just tried VPN and Geo-filter and I didn't get that error.
