Do I need my laptop running?

I just received my Netduma! Thank you Netduma crew!

My question is, once I've set my Netduma router to how I want it (geofilter etc.), do I need my control panel open and running in order to receive the function of the filter? I'll probably use it on all the time in order to see my hosts and such, but I'm curious.

you don't need your laptop running to get the benefits, but you won't be able to allow or reject bad servers or hosts unless you have the geofilter page open

I like to use it so I can tell which dedi I'm playing on and to see the in game ping but it isn't necessary.
