shantzonpoint
Let me preface this by saying I'm a complete network noob. I did a quick search but really didn't find the answers I was looking for. What exactly does the peer ping do? How does it work? Does it only work in certain games? I ticked it and the drop down worked but I didn't see anything. Is there something else I need to do?
Pro Innocence
Peer ping allows you to see all players In the Lobby's ping time. Each player will be represented by a color bar. Reason you may not of seen anything may be because you did not have the correct channel set. So if your console is in service 1 at the top of the geo page select channel 1. If your console is service 2 select channel 2 in the peer ping section etc. The peer ping does nothing more but allow you to see difference in ping times in the lobby, it works best on p2p but still works well on dedi servers. Hope that helps.
