Now it is not working. I've tried to reset it using the reset button on the back but nothing happens. Thankfully i have another router in the meantime but please help me asap Guessing you didn't see this? If you are on a version lower than 1.03.5 please do not upgrade yet. To check the version you are on, scroll to the bottom of any page on your Netduma router's interface. If you choose to upgrade without contacting us you could completely break your router. You will then need to pay for the router to be returned to our office in the UK and then sent back to your home. (NB: the reason for charging you for this potential return is we have not charged for any upgrades (because we love our user community) but we cannot be penalised for people not reading clear instructions). If so then it's probably broken. Can you see the WiFi from the netduma being broadcast? if so , try connect , password will be netdumar1 If you can't see the WiFi broadcast , try connecting through ethernet, then try to access http://r1/or http://192.168.88.
DaTz
What would running .4 have to do with anything? Did you unplug it or something mid upgrade? If so then it's probably broken. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 12, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 12, 2016 As others have said you may have bricked and may need to pay to have it sent back to us. Can you see the wifi broadcasting? If you follow this guide are you able to access the interface? http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=unbrick_router

If you read the instructions carefully it says scroll to the bottom of any page on the R1 to check version. There is no need to buy another one. Sending it back would be a lot cheaper. Please email [email protected] regarding this issue and we'll give you the necessary info needed I will now close this thread, as this can now be taken care of through email. Let me know via PM if you need the thread reopened for any reason.
