Spencer
We all want the smoothest gameplay and have an edge on our opponent. I flip through this forum just about everyday trying to find something that will lower my ping or just make my gaming experience better. If you haven't seen the thread about buffer bloating I would go check that out as well, its been a huge improvement for me. The thing I want to talk about which most people don't even think about or take for granite is the quality of the ethernet cables you are using. I recently came across a website with a short paragraph about how 80% of ethernet cables don't meet speed requirements that they're labeled and most fail with flying colors ex: cat5e cat 6 ect. Basically these companies can stamp on the cable whatever they please. I am in no way affiliated with the website page I attach but that's where I recently ordered my cables because they send proof the cables meet requirements. Finishing up as a result of upgrading my ping has been a consistent 15-20ms where as before hand I was sitting 30-40ms....25ms on the best of days. Don't get me wrong we all know BO3 servers can still have a mind of their own but for the most part my game has been playing unbelievable smooth compared to what it has been. This could be the difference between getting that last bullet off, hope this helps http://goo.gl/40H3gY - Website I ordered from http://goo.gl/wuRX1v -Article
Zennon
Ethernet cables can be inferior and it's always best to swap them out if you are seeing issues to rule them out.
