MrWhooz Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 My device manager page is looking kind of crazy (my sister had a party/i had guest over). How do i tell the devices that are still connected to my network, so i can remove the ones that arent.
Evangelisuk Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Normally you can name them as you add them to your network. You can click edit on the device manager page and remove any devices that are listed as Dormant as they will be your friends devices that are no longer connected. Worst case scenario you delete one of your own home devices - takes 1 minute to add it back into the network :]
MrWhooz Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 All my devices are listed as "Dormant" though?
Asentrix Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Restart netduma > try to remove all.Any devices which are currently connected will not be able to be removed.I know , it's a bit annoying , but they're adding 'Automatic dormant device removal' soon.
fuzzy clam Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Each device has an IP on it.I wrote down all the IP's of the devices in my network and gave them a name...i.e. PS4,iMac desktop upstairs etc. that way you always know when something is an unnamed device on your duma it doesn't belong. I would suggest doing the same thing as it keeps stuff sorted out with minimal effort.
