Holiday Gaming Purchases

Hello gamers,

What are you hoping for Santa, your SO, or the grace of an online sale to bring you?

Personally, I'm thinking of scooping up a couple of Samsung EVO or PRO SSDs for gaming purposes. One for my PC and one for an external X1 HD.

I want my scuf controller to ship so I can give to my wife to wrap for me. And now I want a Duma router, thank goodness my wife is clueless about the way wifi works in my house.

Otherwise she would be pissed to know I bought the new nighthawk a month ago and now going to buy a Duma. As long as it works she dosnt care.

scuf controllers are awesome, if you are used to just standard.

I think abc might be one of the XIM guys.   :o

I love my Scuf.  The XB1 version is very crisp and will most certainly help you win gunfights.  Definitely worth the investment, though I have noticed some new forearm fatigue with AW from all the under paddle pushing to get around the map.  I'll probably need surgery in 2015 from repetitive-action trauma or something....LOL

Add Kontrol Freaks to your scuff thumb sticks and i you will have a serious set up.  I love them on my ps4 controllers.

yup, this solved the issue for my friends that use scuf.  I also had to change out their joysticks a couple of times.

You know I have tried just about everything to get better and stop getting stomped in pubs.  I did try two versions of the Kontrol Freaks and I admit they did provide at least a placebo effort for a bit.  There is one that is shaped like a big "U" that is in their driving pack or something.  That helped with my left thumb movement, but I found it cumbersome on the right stick do to the reloads and weapon swaps.

One item I did find, out of China I think, is a rubberized slip on cover for the sticks that offers "tactified" rubber nubbins in a circle on the top of the pad, kind of like when the controller is brand new, but far more pronounced.  Once I tried them, I knew I had a winner and ordered 10 packs (they are like $1.00 USD for 5 of them).  Put them on all my controllers and haven't looked back.

I use the kontrol freek vortex pack that gives you a concave short (cqc) for the left and a long domed one for the right stick! I would seriously recommend these as I went to these from the phantoms and they massively improved my game.
