The one specialist which allows you to panic knife in a game where panic knifing no longer exists It's like Commando Pro on steroids One of the only specialists who's abilities activate immediately (no animation upon activating it) The charge time is ridiculously fast If you die you get to keep some of your charge He looks like The Stig's older meaner brother Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The War Machine is great for clearing flags, clearing out choke points and head glitches. I can also launch them in different areas while I am on the B flag to ensure that I can capture it. My trick is to think of the war machine like a frag and not a gun. You have 9 bursts of x3 frags on each burst. The longer it goes, the more it will spread out. It also can bounce off walls and ceilings. You have to plan ahead and fire them knowing that it will take a little bit to launch, bounce and detonate. If we flip spawns, I often hang back by our flag, where I know that they will spawn. I wait a little while for most of them to get on the flag. I then start launching the war machine. The frags will bounce of things and other players. With multiple frags, I will get them all even if they have flak jacket. I typically get 3-6 per use when doing this. Because they will bounce, you can hide around a corner and launch them so they will bounce (wall, ceilings, your teammates) and hit the enemies. I will often launch them in ahead of a teammate to help clear out the area or add damage so the teammate gets a quicker kill. I will use Combine as an example. I can launch them into the upper area of the A building or C building with a teammate just jumping up into those areas. Another example, I have guys flaking in the water slide of Combine. I can launch into the lab or the half wall by B (A side) to clear people from getting them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
