Myst1caL
Okay just unboxed my netduma and set it up again but noticed an issue. when I manually set my MTU on both the lan and wan page i get the fragmentation error on the ps4 and issues when checking my mtu through command prompt. my optimal mtu is 1492 works fine on my asus router and it pings fine with the auto setting on the netduma but when i set it manual it's as if it enters a completely different mtu. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 14, 2016 Administrators Share Posted January 14, 2016 Don't forget the header when you're doing the ping. What's the reason for setting the MTU? As there is really no need to do so, would just recommend leaving it on auto.

I've always been advised to set the mtu for vdsl to 1500 on a combined router/modem but separate modem and router set it to 1492 (which is my optimal mtu) so i was wanting to set the duma to 1492 incase it sets it to 1500 in automatic mode if that makes sense. yes 1464 + 28 = 1492 would i enter it into the duma without the 28 added ?
