Geo Filtering not working! PC BO3

hi ive just set the router up today and tried to see if geo filtering was working

i set my distance to the very smallest 111km (uk) and ping assist is 50

i joined a game and found one instantly with people from europe aswel so clearly something is going wrong

any help would be much appreciated thanks

If you want to join hosts in the selected area , turn strict mode on , when you're finished with your match , turn it off until you want to play again.
The netduma automatically joins dedicated servers , they prioritize over p2p connections due to the fact that results are generally better on dedis for the majority of the time.

Try using the XBox One filter for PC since MS maintains both.

 

There are no guarantees the Netduma works for PC CoD because it is developed primarily for consoles...

i currently am using the xbox one filter but the whole reason for buying this was to get the better/closer servers. so are there any benefits to having it on now? or shall i just leave it off until i get a console?

Ensure you use the Xbox live service for BO3 on PC. The reason you got games in Europe is because you had ping assist set to 50 (it assists the Geo-filter by finding games outside your radius under the ping limit). You radius is incredibly small as well, would recommend at least ~1000km. With strict on and ping assist at 0 you'll only get games inside your radius.
