willywonka
Ok so I have some friends that fall outside of my geolocation one in UK that I added first and have no issues with getting him in lobby. One in Florida, no issues, one in Alabama and Texas that I can't get in their lobby nor can they get in mine. The Texas friend I had previously no trouble with and after several reboots removing then adding again still can't connect with him in my lobby or his. Another thing, why is the geofilter keeping people out of my lobby when it is supposedly disabled? These are all long time friends with Open NAT and have been in lobby without issue before the netduma implement. Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted January 6, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted January 6, 2016 Allow and deny instructions here. Make sure the GeoFilter is actually disabled - "Disable" means it is enabled, "Enable" means it is disabled. http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=gf_getting_started#selecting_a_device

willywonka
Followed the allow deny instructions to a tee. It worked fine for awhile. One thing though, I must've not explained well. My friend in Texas is reported correctly in the geofilter yet even though he was inside the circle I had to add him to the allow filter. Why? willywonka
http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=why_restart_itself It was reset purposefully because it wouldn't hold settings and after the upgrade. It's not heat I can assure you.

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted January 6, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted January 6, 2016 If he was inside the GeoFilter, then you won't have needed to add him as he won't have been blocked. I'm not sure what the dots in your last post mean. There shouldn't be any need to reset it to get your full speeds...

He was inside my geo filter and I had to add him because it wouldn't allow him. The rest was because while unticking, in chrome, the settings gs would change after leaving a menu and coming back or a reboot.

willywonka
Funny. So, do you have any idea why it would deny someone within my geo area? And what I should double check?
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted January 6, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted January 6, 2016 No, I'm not sure why that would happen....

willywonka
So I reset everyone in the allow list and the guy from Texas was able to join. It's possible he had an ip change or something. I sometimes move my filter home from my local area ,which he falls within, to an area closer to the middle of all of us which why I added him to the allow list IIRC. So if his ip address changed in the mean time and I moved the filter back to its normal location would that cause my issue?
