JoshuaLighty522
I got my netduma this morning excited to see how it is. I take the cords out of my Verizon router and plug them into my netduma, I see the lights come on and the netduma pops up on my phone but it doesn't load anything up and when I try to use it for my ps4 a psn error code pops up. Can you guys help me lol.

secretface
if you are going to keep the netgear router you need to put the R1 in the dmz of the netgear

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted December 25, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted December 25, 2015 You will need to have a modem. So you need to keep either the Netgear or the Verizon router unless you have another modem
JoshuaLighty522
The password works , but the light isn't real bright by the logo like it is on ports 1 or 2 . But every time I try to connect my ps4 to my netduma I get an error code saying psn is temporarily busy but I can connect with my Verizon router with no problem

secretface
you would have to manually connect to the R1 wifi, I don't have a ps4 so not sure how
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted December 26, 2015 Administrators Share Posted December 26, 2015 Hi Josh, So you need something connected to the wall. That's called a modem. After that you connect the Netduma to the modem. Make you wire port 1 (it has poe) of the Netduma to one of the ports on the modem. After you've done that connect all other wires in the Verizon other than the wall one into the Netduma. Then you'll need to find all you wireless devices and change the wifi to "Netduma R1" and use the password on the side of the box. Check out the user guide that explains it better than I have. Have you managed to do that?
