Black OPs 3 PS4?

I have been an MSFT and XBOX loyalist since they first released their very first version.  I've had every iteration and I currently have an XB1 with a complete digital copy of BO3 that I haven't played in a few weeks.  The Beta played decent, but wasn't great.  During the wait between Beta and release, I purchase a PS4 and got the digital copy on that because I am kind of the Black Ops apologist around here.

Since launch the game HAS gotten better on both consoles.  I play almost exclusively on the PS4 now because I find the connections better,  A couple of weeks ago I might have been tempted to say the lobbies weren't as sweaty, but yeah, that has gone by the wayside something fierce in the last two weeks FOR SURE.

I honestly think the attention from Development & Testing is weighted more towards the PS4 platform for a number of reasons, not the least of which are performance of the box itself and the MLG initiative.

I do plan on firing up the XB1 over this weekend and seeing how it plays when the Christmas Noobs drop, but half of that is because I will be trying to find an online service that wasn't taken down by those Lizard Squad bitches.

Your mileage may vary, but I have enjoyed my first month plus of BO3 on PS4 to a much greater degree than my time spent on XB1.

Connections on PS4 are by far better overall compared to XB1 in my experience. YMMV.

I have both, and it's obvious more players are on PS4, so this is where most of the resources are going in terms of support and being able to find hosts, servers compared to XB1. Sometimes XB1 will give me good connections, but the majority of the time the lobbies are filled with yellow bar players... Probably because there are less of them, so MM is having to group us together to fill matches?

If you're friends are on XB1, just stay there UNLESS you want to go solo on PS4, and/or make new friends?

I will say aside from CoD and Uncharted, there are not that many games on PS4, ironically. Everything is going to be remasters, indie games and VR in the near future. The writing is on the wall whereas XB1 is basically a sub-segment of the MS games market and many multiplats will be available on it and the PC.

I live in California and own both copies. There are more games on ps4. More games means more likely to find a server near you that's good. As far as the actual Xbox vs psn, there's no difference. The lag you will inevitably have is on activisions side

True, but it's compounded by the amount of... or lack thereof... Players and having less players (XB1) crammed onto dedicated servers who should not be on the server in the first place due to ping and bad quality connections. I swear the majority of XB1 players are mostly yellow and red bars, but of course, these kids are top of the leader board above those like us that have 30ms ping and solid green connections.

Like it has been before if all your friends are on XBOX then stay put.But honestly you will make new friends on PS4 and if people are saying the game runs smoother on PS4,I don't know that from personal experience only what friends have said, then that might be something to think about too.
