Is there any way of forcing 1500 MTU on a PPPOE connection? On other routers you force the wan port to be 1508 allowing 1500 MTU!

Looking to try out the settings in this guide, however most people seem to have much better speeds than I do. I'm currently on a 80/20mb line and on average reach 74/18. What Congestion % should I use and how much bandwidth reservation should I use?

Id like to try the Beta if I'm able to, otherwise happy to wait

Still cant get this to work at all. Its like the R3 wont save anything when entered in the DHCP client & vendor. The save button just stays red and no information stays. Meaning I cant use the R3 with my Sky FTTC VDSL2

I thought Sky doesn't use PPPOE - On Asus Merlin I used anything@skydsl|anything for the DHCP option 61.

Its weird, Asus Merlin required anything@skydsl|anything - Openwrt worked without any credentials. Just cant seem to get this R3 to work!

I tried the latest firmware - no joy & then tried reverting back a version also. Still no joy.

I have the Vigor 130 in bridge mode - I factory rest the R3 and when i try to enter the Client ID/ Vendor Id it wont event let me hit save. Like the button is dead. So I skip and then when in the dumaos it still wont save any credentials entered.

I can’t seem to get this to work. I was able to get it to work on an ASU’s router with the client ID being anything@skydsl|anything when I enter this and hit save it doesn’t save and doesn’t work. any ideas?

I'm set to move from BT to Sky FTTC fibre. My understanding is Sky use DHCP option 61 for authentication. Does the R3 support this? I have a Vigor 130 modem & then want to use the R3 as my main router.

Would love to see support for baby jumbo frames. To enable 1500mtu on PPPOE. I was able to do this on fresh tomato/open WRT & ddwrt!

Can I grab it please, I cant seem to get ping optimiser to work!
