Title: COD Matchmaking Stuck / Won't Connect to Local Servers with Ping Assist 0ms (Netduma R3)
Hi,
I’m having an issue getting Call of Duty Multiplayer matches on local servers when keeping my latency low.
Router: Netduma R3
Game & Platform: Call of Duty Black Ops 7 (PS5)
Setup: Custom polygon covering ~6 local data centers (Finland, Sweden/Stockholm, Poland). Strict Mode tried both ON and OFF. Ping Assist is set to 0ms.
Problem: When Ping Assist is set to 0ms to force local servers (under 30ms ping), Multiplayer match search hangs indefinitely ("Searching for a match...") with 4 core game modes selected (TDM, KC, Domination, Hardpoint).
Note: This issue only occurs in Multiplayer. Other modes like Endgame and Zombies work fine and connect without issues.
Details: If I increase Ping Assist slightly, Multiplayer immediately finds matches on Central European servers (Frankfurt/Amsterdam), but the ping goes up to ~39ms, which I want to avoid. Account is completely clean (No Ban Detected on Activision page). Flushing cloud / resetting network hasn't helped.
Is COD matchmaking simply ignoring these 6 covered local nodes in Multiplayer in favor of Central Europe due to SBMM, or is there a specific DumaOS 4 / Geo-Filter setting I should adjust so the game actually routes into the allowed local polygon faster?
Thanks for any help!
