Hi, thank you for your reply. what’s weird is that I’m able to find games with the vpn only but as soon as I have geo filter+vpn it doesn’t work. its a orange livebox modem, the R3 is in its DMZ and yes every device is connected to the R3. I’m on ps5 Ethernet and below the screenshots : Thanks !

Hi, Since the Verdansk update I have issues with the geofilter. It was working properly before and I was able to connect to NA servers or even spanish servers without issues. Now, when it's on I generally cannot find a game and this happens when I try to geofence US east coast (I'm in France) but also Europe and even when I use the "recommend filtering for my game" option. It sometimes works for 1 or 2 game after doing the delete device / resync cloud / re add device but that's it (I play 1 game then I queue for the next without touching anyhting on the R3 or the console but cannot find another game, the ping bracket goes up 3 or 4 times and then I'm stuck in the last one forever) I've also noticed that it never works if I have the hybrid vpn on (I only vpn ports 443 and 3074). I tried locations in the US when geofencing east coast and locations in Europe otherwise and I could never find any match whereas when I disable it I can, rarely, but at least sometimes find a game. Any idea ? Thanks

Hi, As recommended by @Netduma Fraser I'm making a dedicated topic on the issue I'm facing : most of the VPN configs I tried are not working regardless of the vpn provider ( I have an ExpressVPN and a PureVPN subscription) I'll attach one config working and one that's not from each provider Pure VPN: Nigeria (working) / Vietnam (not working) Express VPN: Egypt (working) / Armenia (not working) thanks VN-ovpn-udp.ovpn my_expressvpn_armenia_udp.ovpn NG-ovpn-udp.ovpn my_expressvpn_egypt_udp.ovpn

Where is the new firmware? 4 Months is too long.

We understand but the no ETA policy doesn't satisfy anybody so maybe it's not the best policy. It also looks like you need to have better interactions between marketing and programming because right now marketing is selling features that does not exist. Still not having hybrid vpn 5 months after release on a 250€ router is insane -

Hybrid VPN on The Netduma R3 - Current Status

Bro, I fear this is gonna be Duke Nukem Forever level of delay -

I mean come on let's be serious the only way for the product to work-ish is to deactivate every single feature you bought it for. I'm no dev and don't know what updating a firmware implies but from a customer POV 2 months in the current state of the product is hard to accept. Even if they only released 1 feature like hybrid VPN which was supposed to be a couple weeks after launch... Especially when they are selling probably hundreds of R3 thanks to a paid promotion video that states R3 cancels sbmm in COD and 99% of the kids that bought it are gonna end up here asking how and having "it's not a feature supported by Netduma" for an answer and no way to use a VPN.

Hi, thanks ! Enabling spanning tree protocol seems to have resolved my issue (no dc yesterday on a 5h session)

Thanks @DARKNESS I'll try this tonight and let you know if it's working

unfortunately still nothing

I don't really get your point, if I unplug the switch from the R3 with the PS5 on it's also going to say lan cable disconnected. Also when this occurs there is also a lag/freeze on the TV which is connected to the R3 via wifi

Hi, I'm having a new issue with the R3 and the PS5. Since about a week, I have random micro dc with the message lan cable disconnected on the PS5 immediately followed by lan connected. Sometimes it occurs just once over a couple hours, sometimes 10 times in a row. If I'm in game, it usually lag and freeze a bit before disconnecting. All my ethernet cables are new (I replaced all of them when I bought the R3) and my setup is : Orange livebox 5 -> wall socket RJ45 -> ethernet to R3 -> R3 to 1gb ethernet switch -> Switch to PS5 (I have a Xim matrix plugged on the switch). I tried unplugging / replugging and switching the cables but no effect R3 is in the DMZ Due to the state of the firmware I'm not using any of the router features at the moment (QOS generates lag spikes in COD: in game ping goes up from 10-20 to 65 but unplayable at 65, stays for 2-3 minutes then back to 10-20). Only thing I sometimes use is geofilter (which generally works for me) and I think steady ping (when I don't use geofilter I uncheck filtering mode so I think steady ping still active but not sure). Rebooting the router usually makes it better for a short time but the issue comes back fairly quickly Any solution ?

unfortunately at the moment it seems like the best performances are obtained by desactivating everything. I turned off smartboost, removed the portforwarding to go back to moderate NAT and don't use geofilter. The search still starts higher (<22ms) than on my previous lowend netgear router on wich I had the express vpn firmware (<11ms). I hope they patch soon becaus at the moment this product is not it.
