ETA for the new firmware ?
-
It's literally on every device. As I've mentioned .290 firmware with those settings 5Ghz/160Mhz works fine with every device.

Hi, I'm having a big issue with .540 update. I'm unable to connect with the WiFi using 5Ghz/160 Mhz connection. Firmware .290 works without an issue. Any solutions ?

Xbox Game Pass PC Workaround Call of Duty
DeathRoll666 replied to Wr3ck3r's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Hi, I've got a question about this workaround. I'm playing COD mainly but I like to jump to some other games so I've set my PC as an "xbox" icon, I'm trying to add EA FC, Battlefield or Valve CS2 games and I'm ending up with the message that filter has already been added. Would Geo-Fence work as it should with those games ? @Netduma Fraser -
Wi-Fi speeds under newest firmware
DeathRoll666 replied to DeathRoll666's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Although, what I can say that doing so made the WiFi connection to be less reliable and consistent I'd say. If I'd move WiFi antenna even 5cm to each side or even somewhere else speeds would drop to around 380-400. Also noticed that CPU 3 on Netduma on any other width than 80 has very high percentage of the use (more than 70% constantly) -

Nearly 600mbps. And that's upstairs. Next to the Netduma I've measured 780Mbps -
Post Patch R3 has significant lower speed on WiFi
DeathRoll666 replied to cedric108's topic in Netduma R3 Support
@cedric108Try to set Channel Width to 80 (5GHz - Advanced tab). I had issues with my Wifi speeds but that did the trick. Let me know it that helps You as well -
Wi-Fi speeds under newest firmware

To anyone facing same issue - Set 5GHz Wi-Fi Channel Width to 80. That's what's helped me. Any other width seem not to work but just this particular one. -

Wi-Fi speeds under newest firmware
DeathRoll666 replied to DeathRoll666's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes please, but it would need to be early morning, let's say 7am - 8am UK time as I'm working nights and got to go sleep. Let me know if that would be ok. -
Hi, after switching to the newest firmware I'm experiencing very low speeds using Wi-fi connection (2,4GHz and 5GHz). First screen shot shows 2.4 GHz , second 5GHz , thirds shows a router from my broadband provider. It's outrageous that I can have nearly full speed with Upload while Download remains very low (I pay for 900down and 100up). Before the update I was getting around 600 down and 100up using Netduma which was ok for my need, but having a quater of the speeds is not acceptable for me. I thought I'll revert the update and flashed older software but the problem remained the same. P.S - yes I've checked the WiFi channels congestion etc. Netduma used same settings and now it seems I can't have my old speeds.

iVCam + Touch Portal not connecting via WiFi
DeathRoll666 replied to DeathRoll666's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I'll try this later on as I'm streaming currently, I'll let You know 👍🏻 -
Hi, as in title I'm not able to connect both iVCam and Touch Portal on PC with their apps on the phone while using Netduma R3. I've switched to my old router and all got instantly connected. Would there be any settings on ND R3 that could cause the issue? Thanks for any help Just to mention both the PC and the phone are on the same 5GHz WiFi from Netduma router.

Thank You so much !! It is working now ! Would You suggest turning off Hub 2 WiFi or keep it ? Would keeping WiFi on have any impact on the WiFi performance of Netduma R3? Thanks for any advice.

Do i enter anything under "service" in wan settings ? Do I still need to configure wan options at all or just leave it be for 10 minutes and it should connect?

Hi, as in title I have a lot of problems with connecting to internet with my fresh Netduma R3. Firstly I've connected my ethernet cable from fibre box straight to Netduma using wan port, I've tried to set up wan credentials (pppoe - username - password) just like I was logging in on my Plusnet router. It didn't work. Then I've set my Plusnet Hub 2 router into the bridge mode and connected both routers as You can see in pictures attached (ont box - wan on Hub 2 - Lan 1 - wan port on Netduma). It didn't work either. Please can I have some help as I don't want to return the router :( Thanks 🙏
