In my concern Wi-Fi coverage is very poor, daily lagging, high jumping ping , slowing down of internet speed, to incorrect speed settings even with no activities. Turning smartboost off and on every day to make it work properly again for a little while. Steady ping and ping server not working many times,but it was like that from beginning. I understand this issue it shouldn't be like that but ok, as you said, it depends on the servers. Now I'm talking about what's going on with my router from version 219. This is already tiring. Installing a new version of the software so that it works just fine for a few days, then returning to the old version of the software so that it works fine again for a few days, sorry NetDuma guys, but my router is broken from what I can see and how CPU works in my router is causing what's happening, from what I observed the router worked well for couple of months but with each new software it started to work worse and worse and now it's tragic I can't stand it anymore after version 219 something happened that my router can no longer work as it did before. Previously there were only problems with steady ping and ping server, now there are problems with lagging ping spikes, frizzing smartboost CPU and internet speeds not to mention the poor range which could be better but I can bear it, it was a bit worse in R2 Congestion control does not help anymore ping spikes and jitter with the speed of 700/107, as it was previously set and it worked, but generally my internet speed is 1gb download 107mbps upload router is not the same as it was before firmware 219 and I can no longer achieve this with any firmware. Many people have no problem with the router but I am one of those who have them and I wish I didn't have them and enjoy playing and my purchase like some people do, but that's not my case, and apart from being annoyed by the comments of some trolls. I don't have the desire or time to post here every now and then these posts, I have other things to do in my life, family, work, than testing and posting on the forum about my problems with the router, I would just like to sit down and play without stress on my days off, but it was only like that for a few months. My wife purchased this router as Christmas present and she will contact you via email regarding refund or replacement of router due to ongoing issues with device. I would not like to end up with something thats not working. I hope you understand my concerns. Refund or replacement will be much appreciated as far as it would work as it should. It’s ok but not great still issues with ping servers and steady ping not stabilize ping most of the time but it's better than lagging and freezing on new firmware for sure

WPS it's not a big problem, you can connect it manually, buddy no big deal for now.

This is a gaming router and I think that the priority should be to fix the things that advertise this router first.

Yes on ISP no lagging and I'm back to firmware 4.0.147 and as well so far it’s ok no lagging like on new firmware so definitely new firmware for me causing this lagging

What you want the problem is either with R3 or with the ISP I have been playing COD for many years and I see that I play with many people from the competitive scene not killing bots with 0.80 kd on public vanguard matches

Hello Fraser , I performed the test with hub 5 in modem mode, without R3 and any activity as you said from the bbc.co.uk and google.com websites at the same time. I don't understand, one is stable, the other is not

Can I use R3 for that with switching off smartboost or does it have to be only in hub 5 ?

last week engineer from virgin media come to check everything line cables hub and they say is everything fine they even change socket for new one on the wall and they say they not responsibility for that 3 party router if this causing issue

I done factory reset twice still the same

Mate game is lagging badly as well ping is jumping no access to location to set up looks like CPU on the router struggling a lot issue after issue smartboost looks like got some issues as well
