  1. Could I please get the firmware as well. I'm still running .40
  2. My geo filter keeps blocking the Columbus OH server for some reason even though it's within my geofilter and I checked the allow button. This must be why I never connect. Not sure why the server shows up within the geofilter when booting the game up and then the netduma just has the red bar saying the server is blocked when it's not. Georgia server now showing up when booting up the game but same as Columbus switches to blocked for no reason. Any fix?
  3. .23 firmware. 1 gig fiber hardwired for PS5. Cross play off. I'm having a lot of issues with delayed gameplay and trying to connect to servers. I'm in North Carolina and my closest server is Washington but supposedly there is one in Georgia. Next server would be Columbus OH for me. On my netduma I blocked Washington because it's completely unplayable with delay, might as well read 200 ping with the delay. Have my geofilter set for around Georgia, Columbus, and the Norfolk VA area (blocked Washington server and it does work in blocking me from that). Norfolk isn't a server though and seems to be some sort of P2P connection possibly? Netduma doesn't give any ping readings to this "server" when in game so I don't know but it always connects me here. I was told there was a Georgia server but I don't see it on my map ever as an option. Asus router when I had this: -Georgia server? I get 8-9 ping. Washington 19-20. Columbus around 30. Netduma router with steady ping: -Washington blocked so never connect. Some reason I always connect to a "server" ? in Norfolk VA but the ping is never consistent nor the gameplay. Some games hover from 10-14 ping and others up to 32 on average (no spikes that's just what they are when connecting to that). Games that are fine are against people in the US but for some reason I only connect to people in Quebec 8/10 game and it is always completely unplayable with delay. -Have my geofilter set for Ohio to capture the Columbus server and I can never find a game on this server, just never works with netduma. Not sure why I can't ever get a game here to avoid the Quebec lag. -Keep an area around Norfolk and this is the only place I ever connect, not sure what I'm supposed to do to try to connect in Georgia or Columbus. Have also put my geofilter to dallas because I get decent gameplay there and I also never connect. Just makes zero sense I'm playing Quebec players 8/10 games and feels like they are playing on their server in Montreal and I'm playing from NC so delayed and unplayable.
  4. Could you send me a possible fix for this as well? I get such terrible input delay on 8-20 ping on the 2 servers I play. NHL is my primary game east coast US.
  5. How do I completely disable QOS on the R3? Can't seem to find it. Older models I could click a box under one of the settings and would work but I'm not seeing anything like that.
  6. Can confirm this seems to be the fix for me every time. Upnp works perfectly fine after this and a restart.
  7. That's just as good as you'll get. My internet is the same way I get my normal speeds with other routers but not this one. Setup also gave me 900 down and 100 up but now it will give me around 100 up/down and spike randomly to 500
  8. Upnp seems to work better with ipv6 off. Problem with when I have to turn off ipv6 on wan the internet just stops working altogether and then I have to factory restart.
  9. I haven't noticed any difference between .20 and .23, if anything it has taken longer to get into cod games. Expanded range and has been fine for search times but I'm rarely getting my closest server. My speed test function still does not work at all on the dashboard. Ping optimizer function also still does not run at all. Have asked a bunch for some help with this so I guess there is no fix?? Feel like so many functions just don't work on this router and just read inactive but might be working or might not. Games still run ok at least so maybe the ping stabilizer helps even though my ping never really fluctuated much before with my fiber. Wifi test speeds remain atrocious less than 100 mbps up/down with wifi so glad I don't use this router for that otherwise it wouldn't be usable.
  10. Upnp also seems to be working now after several days not showing up Bufferbloat is still up and down from A to B ratings, very spotty readings so not worrying too much about this now Main questions at this time are with how to get my speed test to work on the dashboard setup and also how to get the ping optimizer to work. Both just do not run at all and therefore can't really use those functions at all. Speedtests on multiple websites are just abysmal for this router. I will randomly get 400-500 mbps upload and download a few times during the day but 90 percent of the day this router can't crack 100 mbps upload or download. My other routers have always given me consistent speeds well over 700 at all times my fiber speeds never change with other routers.
  11. I can't even crack 100 mbps download or 150 upload on .20 or .23 firmware through gigabit internet testing wifi. Was randomly getting up to 500 ish down and up at times but 99 percent of the day it won't get me past 100 mpbs. Have turned off ipv6 on wan/lan and have cc all the way at 100 percent, also was getting same speeds all of the way down at 50 percent. Have no clue what to do to try to fix this issue. Speed test within the dashboard still won't run at all and ping optimizer also does not run at all. My asus always gives me 700-750 download and upload so it's not my internet.
  12. Could I please get the .23 firmware as well, I'm still on .20 I believe.
  13. Got home today and even after multiple restarts I can't get speed tests past 100 mbps upload or download and bufferbloat is constantly D and F (ran my asus and was getting an A at the same time and speeds are normal). Not sure why it's not working after being gone for the day. This router is so bugged. ipv6 is off. Upnp randomly started working though.
  14. Still having a few issues if you could respond and help: 1. I'm unable to get the R3 to run any speed test and therefore the ping optimizer also does not run during set up or in the dashboard. It partially worked when I first set up the router and then stopped working altogether. The download was working 900+ mbps but upload was only 100-150 mbps range (asus tests always run around 935 mbps up and down). I factory restarted after doing the firmware upgrade and now the initial speed test won't run at all or later in the dashboard. Is there a fix for this other than manually putting in my speed at 935 up and down? 2. UPnP still doesn't trigger properly after multiple factory restarts and restarting PS5. (not showing it opens UDP 3074 like all other routers for COD but still getting nat type 2). Tried to manually port forward and it just always shows 'inactive.' 3. Congestion control settings have to be at 50% and 50% in order to get an A bufferbloat rating on waveform site with 1 gig up/down fiber that has 5 ms ping testing hardwired. Seems really low like there is an issue but this test is through wifi. Asus router only gives me a B rating at best through wifi. I don't have an ethernet computer to be able to test hard wired, but not sure if that test matters wifi vs hardwired.
  15. Mine shows the same as inactive when I try to port forward UDP 3074. I've restarted multiple times and still shows inactive. Upnp only opens one port and fails to open UDP 3074 for me when every other router I've ever owned has opened that when playing COD.
  16. Now I just have my ASUS connected to the ONT box because I get better speeds and only using the R3 to hard wire my ps5 in. Disabled the wifi on the R3. Still unable to get my geo filter to really work well with EA games it just wants to connect to whatever server it pleases including ones further than I've ever connected generally. Speed test on the R3 does not work after multiple factory restarts and therefore ping optimizer isn't able to run either. (lan tests on asus give me 930-935 up and down every time through their webpage) I have run bufferbloat tests on waveform and only able to obtain an A rating when my settings are at 50% up and down for my 1000 up and down speeds. (Would get a B or C rating with the ASUS) PS5 games do seem to run smoother with the A rating but is something wrong having to drop this all of the way to 50 / 50 and still not get an A+ ? Edit: running bufferbloat test on the asus it's the download adding latency giving me a B rating with I can't get better than A with R3 on 50% up and download due to added latency with the upload which reads higher than the asus. When I first got the R3 the first setup had the speed test working for download but my upload speed was around 100. Seems to be an issue with the upload on the R3 for me possibly. I tried to disable ipv6 to see if that did anything for me but then the router wouldn't work at all and lost connectivity making me factory restart it again UPNP feature not working - also tried to manually port forward and would just always tell me it was inactive even with restarts (UDP 3074) Geofilter does not work at all on EA games for me - east coast US. There is a Georgia server it doesn't know exists which was the best working server on my usual routers
  17. Tried factory restarting it and setting up again and it still won't run a speed test so the ping optimizer also won't run. I'm now only getting 90-100 mbps download and upload speed through wifi. Can hook up my asus into the lan port through the r3 and it spits out 650 mbs download and 250 upload. Reconnected my asus back to my ont and getting 700 mbps+ download and upload. Geo filter seems to be working which was my main reason for getting this router to connect to a specific server for a game.
  18. Hooked up through my ont box and only ps5 connected in the lan port. Nothing else except my laptop connected wifi.
  19. Just hooked up my r3 and I'm already having a few issues 1. Initial speed test was giving me very slow uploads in the 100-200 mbps range but download was giving me 800-900+ each time. I have 1 gig up/down. Tried restarting and factory restarting but then the speed test just quit working altogether. So I had to skip this step to get it set up along with the ping optimizer since that wouldn't work either. Still can't get the test to run within the duma webpage. Regular speed tests through ethernet and wifi also still slow and not getting more than 200s. (asus router always 600-700 down and uploads) 2. PS5 geo filter seems to be working now but the ping should be in the 9-11ms range but I'm getting 30+ to the same server 3. Upnp function is not working properly. Won't open udp 3074
  20. I pre-ordered from east coast US on 12/12 and it arrived at my house on 12/21. DHL originally quoted 12/26 but I won't be home until tomorrow to get it up and running. Plan to run my ethernet cable from my ONT to the R3 (PS5 hooked up into this) and then hook in my ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 because the wifi signal is great in my house. 1. Would I hook up the ASUS router in the WAN or one of the LAN ports to get this to work for the wifi for my house? 2. Are there any other settings I would need to change in the ASUS router to get this to work or should it just be up and running normal once connected? 3. Should I still get close to normal speeds with the ASUS when connected this way? 1 gig fiber up / down
