  1. I already have. I thought it was going well but then it started to jump outside again and connected to unwanted servers. Steady Ping on/off, Geo-Latency on/off, Geo-Filter simple/custom, I'm still getting connected to servers outside my boundaries. The first couple games of the day seem to work perfectly fine though. Even with them blocked, I can see it trying to until it fails. I have fast search off, strict mode on, ping assist at 0. I also notice that I'm having to re-fresh the page every once in a while when I notice that it stops working and that seems to help.
  2. I think there is an issue with the Geo-Filter when using custom. Ever since I got the R3, the custom settings to draw your boundaries seemed off and quite often I was connecting to servers outside the places I marked even though I have the settings set to not do that. I recently switched to simple and I have yet to encounter that issue. Maybe this is affecting the other settings for the Geo-Filter.
  3. Can I please get the updated firmware? Is it pretty stable to use or are there things still needing to be ironed out?
  4. No matter what I set my congestion control to, when I have it optimize it, the download only tests at 100%. I set up to 70% and It doesn't go up or down, just 100% every single time. Even if it's worse than what I have and it says it couldn't do any better, it still sets my download at 100% in the end. For upload I set it to 70%. It went to 100% and was way worse. then it dropped to 75% and even though it was worse than my 70%, it showed green as an improvement over 100% though the ping number stayed the same. then it gradually went higher and higher, each time showing green as if it was comparing it to 100%, not my 70%. It went all the way up to 99% which still showed improvement over 100% so it was green. Each time the percentage went up, the ping went up but still showed green as it got better than 100% but the ping number never changed from the initial 70%. It also tested 100% at the end for 3 consecutive iterations. In the end, it set my download to 100% but showed the ping of when it was 70% and the upload was set to 99% but showed the ping of when it was 70%. The Geo-filter doesn't seem to be acting normal. I'm looking for a game and even with strict on, it was looking as if I had no restrictions, quickly raising the ping percentage from 30ms to 150ms to 180ms until if connects me to a game on the other side of the country. I have fast search off, 0 for ping assist, steady ping disabled. I have my polygon points clearly setting my boundries and even though I see white dots pop up in my set area, it still was connecting me across the country.
  5. Whenever I start up my PS5, I check the network speed via the speed test in the PS5 settings. I'm usually showing 550-570 Mbps but ever since I got the R3, it shows me at below 100 until I restart my internet. I think it might be the SmartBOOST because it shows my PS5 as offline (it's the only thing I have a priority for) until I'm actively searching for a game to join, even then it sometimes looks like it times out and I have to refresh the page to show it working. The same thing goes with the geofilter actually.
  6. I should also note, in case it's not already known, that whenever you reboot the router, the SmartBOOST option disappears until you refresh the page, then it re-appears.
  7. I did, I actually had it at 20ms. The wording is kind of confusing. It sounded like it said to put the ping number in at a number sightly larger than what I normally get. I live about 400 miles from a server so my ping, at least in game, normally shows me about 12-13ms, so I said it to 20ms. Are you saying that the number that is set is the number above my normal ping, not including the actual ping? Ping? So if I put 20ms in there is that 20ms plus my normal ping for a total of 32ms or is 20ms the total ping that includes my normal ping?
  8. It was weird. It was creating the buffer zone but at the same time it appeared that the added 10ms as the buffer was being used like it was the minimum when searching for lobbies to join. So instead of staying around 20ms, it started at 30ms but then would keep climbing to 45ms then to 60ms then to 80ms before finding a lobby. Sometimes less send sometimes more. My ping would still be at around 30, or at least the game said so, but the lag was pretty bad.
  9. It turns out that the culprit was SteadyPing. As soon as I turned that off, it was a lot better. I already had fast search off, strict mode on, PingAssist set to 0,0 and off. I do have GeoLatency set to on though as this did help dramatically versus when it was turned off.
  10. I will. I do have to say that I am getting annoyed though. When I am first starting to look for a match, the starting ping is so high when compared to my XR450, at least double. Every game I play feels really laggy. I've been messing with the settings a little, I've tried restarting the router and modem multiple times, I just don't know. I guess I will just have to wait to see when smartBOOST gets fixed.
  11. SmartBOOST just completely disappeared. When I went to the dashboard, I tried clicking the SmartBOOST button there and a pop-up appeared asking if I wanted to enable SmartBOOST but nothing happened when I clicked to enable it, the pop-up didn't change it even appear to accept my response. Rebooting did nothing at all, no matter how many times I did it. Then I went and downloaded and applied the v4.0.16, everything then looked how it should. Then I went to update it back to v4.0.20 and the R3 isn't taking it. A message of "please wait while we try to reconnect to the router" appears but never goes away. After about 30 minutes, I turned it off and back on and it was still on v4.0.16. I tried several times, waiting up to an hour and still the same thing. As for the IPs, it's probably just an OCD thing but I like then to be ordered. When I changed it, the number is out of order and it drives me crazy 😂 but it would be nice to be able to change their name there too instead of having to go to the device table to only do it there. EDIT I just tried to do the update again but this time instead of v4.0.20, it was v4.0.21 and the update went through without an issue. Everything seems to be working fine.
  12. My firmware shows as v4.0.20. Smartboost has disappeared. Ping optimizer seems to be broken, I can't even change congestion control as it's grayed out and stuck on 100%. While gaming, the ping is higher than it was with the XR450, which I was using prior. Ping Plotter is showing my latency graph (the bottom graph) going pretty wild in the variance ranges. Also, it would be really nice to be able to manually adjust the list order of the DHCP reserved IPs and to also have the option to edit them instead of just deleting them, like changing the MAC address or the name of the associated device. It would also be nice to be able to name the LAN ports so it is easy to just look and see what it attached where.
  13. I'm not sure where to post this but I got an email saying that my R3 will be here by the 21st but on the dispatch notification email it shows that I paid over $30 dollars for shipping and in parenthesis it says 1-2 working days. Did I get overcharged for shipping or is DHL wrong?
